What is Digital Citizenship?

Digital citizenship is the responsible use of technology by anyone who uses computers, digital devices, and/or the Internet to engage with society on any level.

Digital Citizenship helps create thoughtful, empathetic digital citizens who can acknowledge and grasp the important ethical questions that arise at the often confusing intersection of technology and humanity.

Digital Citizenship encompasses the following concepts:

  • Cyberbullying
  • Internet Safety
  • Netiquette
  • Reporting Offenders
  • Digital Law
